If you have found your way here, my guess is that you have spent countless hours searching for answers.
You may have heard conflicting advice, celebrated small victories, carried heavy disappointments, and wondered whether anyone truly understands what your family is experiencing.
I do—because years ago, I was exactly where you are today.
Spectrum Integrative Wellness was created to give families a calmer place to begin: a place to feel heard, understand the whole picture, and take thoughtful next steps without being overwhelmed.
Welcome. You are not alone anymore.
— Dawn
As a psychologist and mother of children who once struggled with significant developmental and behavioral challenges, Dawn understands the concerns many families face.
Today she helps parents find clarity, confidence, and hope through personalized wellness support.
You do not need to understand every test, service, or wellness option before reaching out. We begin with your child's story and move forward together.
We begin with a brief, no-pressure conversation about your child, your concerns, what you have already tried, and whether Spectrum may be a good fit.
Together, we identify practical priorities related to nutrition, lifestyle, routines, sleep, stress, and—when appropriate—laboratory or nutrigenomic education.
Ongoing coaching helps you understand what matters most, apply what you learn, collaborate with your child's healthcare providers, and adjust the plan over time.
You may be in the right place if you are searching for thoughtful, whole-person wellness guidance for a child with autism, ADHD, or related developmental challenges—and want to feel supported rather than overwhelmed.
You have seen specialists, tried different approaches, and still feel that something important may be missing.
Managing appointments, school, therapies, and daily challenges has become exhausting, and you are looking for someone who truly understands.
You believe there may be nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, stress, environmental, or other wellness factors worth exploring.
You are not looking for a one-size-fits-all plan. You want guidance shaped around your child’s unique needs and your family’s priorities.
You value thoughtful guidance, clear explanations, and the confidence to make informed decisions in collaboration with your child’s healthcare providers.
You want to work with someone who understands this journey not only through professional training, but through personal experience as a parent.
Families deserve more than information. They deserve to feel listened to, respected, and supported as they make decisions for their child.
We listen before we advise.
We educate rather than overwhelm.
We respect your intuition as a parent.
We explain recommendations in clear, practical language.
We celebrate meaningful progress, no matter how small.
Every child is unique. That is why Spectrum Integrative Wellness takes a whole-person approach—helping families explore nutrition, lifestyle, nervous system regulation, laboratory wellness insights, genetics education, biofeedback education, and other factors that may contribute to overall well-being.
The goal is not to overwhelm families with more information, but to help parents understand what may matter most and move forward with a clearer plan.
Although I have professional training in psychology, services provided through Spectrum Integrative Wellness are offered solely in my role as an Integrative Health Coach and are not psychological services.
As both a mother and a psychologist, I knew I was already doing much of what my professional training had prepared me to do. Yet I knew some researcher somewhere must have figured out how to help with at least some of my children's symptoms, even though at the time I did not hear anyone discussing the possibility of recovery from autism.
That realization led me to begin looking beyond behavior alone. I became determined to understand what underlying factors might be contributing to my children's challenges and what might support their overall health, development, and well-being.
I immersed myself in research, exploring nutrition, lifestyle factors, environmental influences, emerging wellness approaches, and later, advances in genetics and nutrigenomics. My goal was not simply to manage symptoms but to better understand what might help my children thrive and reach their fullest potential.
Over time, I witnessed remarkable improvements within my own family. What began as a search for ways to help my children with severe challenges—including mutism, head-banging, frequent meltdowns, lack of eye contact, and high-risk impulsive behaviors—ultimately became a journey that exceeded anything I thought possible.
As my children healed, I watched them progress through profound autism, then through ADHD-related challenges, and eventually into a level of health, communication, connection, and functioning that once felt almost impossible to imagine.
Understanding your child's unique genetic profile can provide valuable insights into nutrition, wellness, and individualized health-support strategies. Through education and guidance, I help families learn about available genetic testing options, understand how genetic factors may influence wellness, and explore personalized approaches to nutrition and lifestyle.
My role is to help parents understand and apply this information from a wellness perspective so they can make informed decisions in collaboration with their healthcare providers.
Through education and guidance, I help families understand available laboratory testing options and how wellness-related findings may contribute to a broader understanding of nutrition, lifestyle, digestion, metabolic health, and overall well-being.
My role is to help parents interpret this information from a wellness perspective and apply it thoughtfully in collaboration with their healthcare providers.
Biofeedback offers a non-invasive way to explore how the nervous system responds to stress and how the body may be supported toward greater balance. Through education and guidance, families can learn how stress, sleep, focus, emotional regulation, sensory overwhelm, and overall wellness may be connected to the body's physiological patterns.
When appropriate, biofeedback-based wellness tools may be used to support relaxation, stress awareness, and nervous-system regulation from an educational wellness perspective.
Targeted strategies based on testing results, health history, lifestyle, and your child's unique needs.

Support begins by looking at the whole child and family, including nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, stress, emotional wellness, environmental influences, and personalized wellness factors that may affect overall well-being.
My approach is shaped by both personal experience and years of dedicated study in nutrition, wellness, lifestyle factors, environmental influences, and nutrigenomics. I combine personalized wellness support, compassionate guidance, and a whole-person perspective to help families move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.
I provide education and guidance regarding available nutrigenomic testing options.
